Carbon Cowboy Hat

I primarily wear felt cowboy hats in the colder months. They keep my head warm without restricting my hearing or peripheral vision. This hat is hands down the most comfortable hat I’ve ever owned. I get compliments about it regularly.

Ultimately, I chose a Beaver x Rabbit blend in Carbon with a horsehair hat band. I usually wear a fitted baseball hat on hikes, but this hat provided excellent sun protection and great breathability on the trail. I'd been looking for a hatter whilst road-tripping around the western states and a recommendation led me to Sedona, and a chance google search brought me to True West Hats.

I love the gus hat. II look even better than Harrison Ford in 1823 with this hat. It was formed to fit my round head and it is perfect. I was treated with respect and the owners are charming and knowledgeable. I would buy a custom hat from them again. I have been to the Burns factory and to their Park City retail location and loved their hats. I planned to buy a custom Burns hat but when I visited True West Hats in Sedona I was so impressed by their products, owners, and reasonable prices that I purchased my custom hat there. I have a custom hat that I purchased at the factory in Colorado 25 years ago. It is still like new so I am sure that the True West hat will be even better. Since I am 82 years old I will still be wearing the True West hat when I am 107 years old.

We wore our hats to an event in Scottsdale. They were perfect for the ocassion! The customer care and overall experience was a 10!
